An IoT BMS is a battery management system with built-in wireless connectivity. Besides protecting the cells, it sends battery data to a mobile app or cloud platform over Bluetooth and 4G, so you can monitor, switch and update the battery without being next to it. This model supports 7S–24S packs and 20A–150A continuous current.

The 4G module, Bluetooth (BLE) and the protection circuit sit on the same PCB. Pack builders do not have to fit and wire a separate communication module, which saves space and one connection point inside the pack.

Bluetooth handles local setup and diagnostics from a phone when you are next to the battery. 4G keeps the pack online for remote monitoring and map location when the vehicle is somewhere else. The 4G link uses an industrial-grade SMD SIM chip, so there is no SIM card slot to manage.

01.What is the difference between an IoT BMS and a regular BMS?

A regular BMS protects the cells and may show data over Bluetooth. An IoT BMS adds 4G, so the battery stays connected to the cloud. You can then monitor it, switch it on or off, change parameters and update its firmware from anywhere.

02.Which batteries does this BMS support?

It supports lithium-ion and sodium-ion packs from 7S to 24S. Tell us your cell chemistry and we will confirm the parameter settings.

03.What continuous current does it support?
