01 Product Overview

 
 

The 51.2V 280Ah LiFePO4 Battery Energy Storage System is designed for both residential and commercial energy storage applications. It uses 3.2V 280Ah lithium iron phosphate cells in a 16S1P configuration, providing a nominal voltage of 51.2V, nominal capacity of 280Ah, and rated energy of 14.336kWh.

Equipped with a SEPLOS Smart BMS, the battery system supports battery monitoring, parameter setting, multiple protection functions, and CAN/RS485 communication. Each pack supports up to 16 packs in parallel for capacity expansion. With a cycle life of 6000 cycles at 25℃, 100A charge/discharge current and 80% DOD, it provides reliable performance for energy storage applications

• Functions:

● Accurate Battery Voltage Monitoring
Supports 16 battery voltage sampling channels with a voltage sampling deviation of ±20mV, enabling accurate monitoring of individual cell voltage.

● Multi-Point Temperature Detection
Equipped with 4 battery temperature sensors, 1 ambient temperature sensor and 1 MOS temperature sensor, with a temperature detection deviation of ±2℃.

● Battery Capacity & Cycle Monitoring
The BMS can determine the actual battery capacity through a complete charging and discharging cycle. It monitors the remaining battery capacity with a capacity estimation accuracy within 5% deviation and supports configurable charging and discharging cycle times.

● Smart Cell Balancing
Supports flexible charging and static balancing strategies to help maintain cell consistency and extend battery service life.

○ BMS

This unit adopts premium intelligent BMS built with dual active cell balancing,

delivering full-spectrum safeguards against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and extreme temperature conditions,

ensuring stable and secure operation for residential & commercial energy storage setups.

Short Circuit Protection

A high-current threshold will trigger immediate short-circuit shutdown. The system automatically recovers after 60 seconds upon detecting charging input. Should five successive short-circuit incidents take place, the system enters locked mode, which can only be released by plugging in a charger.

Temperature Protection

Cell discharge overheat protection engages at 55°C and resumes working once cooled to 50°C; MOS overtemperature protection disconnects power output at 100°C and restores output at 85°C; Excess ambient temperature protection powers the whole unit off at 60°C, and restarts operation as temperature cools to 55°C; A built-in low-temperature heating unit activates during charging when ambient temperature drops below 0°C, preventing cells from sustaining damage under frigid conditions.
