FAQ

Q1: How light is this pack, and why does that matter for cargo motorcycles?

At 9.3 kg for about 1.6 kWh, the pack offers roughly 174 Wh per kilogram. A lighter battery leaves more of your payload allowance for goods and can make the motorcycle easier to handle.

Q2: What does high discharge mean for this battery?

The 70A peak discharge rating is about 2.6 times the 27Ah capacity. That gives the motor enough current for quick starts, hill climbs and heavy loads, as long as the controller stays within the pack's limits.

Q3: Is a 60V 27Ah pack enough for delivery work?

The pack stores about 1.6 kWh. Distance per charge depends on payload, speed, road grade and stop frequency, so it should be checked against your own route data and vehicle.

Q4: How do I pair this 60V battery with a controller?

Select a controller made for 16S lithium packs at 60V. It must handle the 67.2V upper charge voltage, keep current under the pack's 27A standard and 70A peak figures, and set its low-voltage protection above the 43.2V lower limit.

Q5: What should I know about charging?

Use a 67.2V charger. A 2A charger takes about 13 hours to fill an empty pack, and a 5A charger takes about 5 to 6 hours, both as rough estimates. Timing changes with the charger and the state of the battery.

Q6: Can the battery be used in cold weather?

Discharging is supported from −20°C to 45°C. Charging should be done between 0°C and 45°C, so bring a cold pack into a warmer place before charging it.
